HINO RESEARCH / Comparison

Hino 195 standard cab vs crew cab

A 195 crew cab adds space for people while changing the body installation envelope. Compare the same model year and wheelbase before deciding which configuration meets the work.

The cab changes the usable installation space

The common wheelbase does not preserve the same distance behind the cab. Check the body drawing, rear overhang and cab service clearance. A body moved from a standard cab may need a different layout on the crew cab; get that assessment before purchasing the chassis.

Count the people and their equipment

Include occupants, tools and supplies in the load plan and verify every seating position and belt in the offered vehicle. Inspect rear doors, floors and water sealing. Published chassis weight does not include the completed working vehicle, so calculate no final payload from these two numbers alone.
