Use the right 155 identity
This guide follows the 2020 Canadian cab-over specification. Confirm the model year and the complete model code before using its dimensions. An earlier truck, a hybrid nameplate or a vehicle documented for another market needs its own literature; the badge alone does not settle the specification.
Small footprint, carefully planned load
Measure the loading area and check the delivery stops where turning space is tight. A compact cab does not tell you the completed truck’s swept path: body width, mirrors, rear overhang and wheelbase all affect clearance. Ask for scale weights with the body, liftgate, fuel and equipment aboard before planning freight capacity.
Cab-over inspection priorities
Have the inspector check the cab tilt and latch mechanism, mounts, cooling access, steering and areas hidden beneath the cab. Review liftgate electrical loads and battery condition on delivery trucks. The condition of the cargo floor and door opening can matter as much as the odometer when assessing daily usability.
